whether you prefer this version or the previous live versions, i think you have to agree that emily's 'ooooh yeeeeah's during the intro are a nice addition.

I have been searching with zero luck for a GREAT recording of a concert from Emily Haines' "Knives" Tour. Any chance someone out there has one?

Hi Christina. Just wanted to thank you again for letting me know about Metric Links (Live Archive). I downloaded Emily Haines' CBC Radio 3 Concert from Oct. '06 at See Vous Play and it is EXACTLY what I've been searching for ever since "Knives Don't Have Your Back" came out. EXCELLENT live recording - and not just because it's soundboard. Every other Emily Haines concert I've found in the past (came across some of them again in Metric Links) was ruined by the constant chatter in the audience (I actually recall one concert where Emily Haines asked if the audience could please stop talking for her last song). I was shocked that fans could be so rude. Anyway, thank God the audience at See Vous Play treated her gorgeous compositions with the respect they deserved (you could hear a pin drop). I LOVE Metrics' Fantasies" CD, but Emily's "Knives" album is my favorite. And now I have this superb solo show!:D
