Broken Social Scene - 2005 XFM session

I've just realized the ladies seem to have mastery over this blog (or a few previous posts at least) so I'm adding this short session here, a proud member of my "lullaby playlist" (that was a compliment), Ibi is definitely one of the best songs ever written and I don't think I'll ever decide if I'm a bigger fan of the proper wild version with all those sound walls and a jungle of horns or this acoustic piece of bliss.

02 - Swimmers
03 - Fire Eye'd Boy
04 - Superconnected

Broken Social Scene - KVRX 2003-03-14

Today I'm posting one of the shorter gigs but it's still one of my favourites. Not because of Pi in the date (I'm not quite kidding, my Mathematical Analysis teacher at the university kinda celebrated it:)) nor because it's the very first BSS show (chronologically) in my folders. In these just 28 mins you can hear BSS's (I dunno why) officially never released gems like New Country (btw one of my fave songs sung by Feist) and Willie Nelson + three more songs (and YAY, what songs!).

(I've just found out kvrx.org says they played 5 songs from YFIIP and offers THREE of them for a free download. Double ignorants. :)

*Brendan starting Stars and Sons with "why don't you share it" + tambourine "clapping"? Yes please!

And yes, I hope there's at least one person who hasn't got this yet.

01 - Stars and Sons
02 - 7/4 (Shoreline)
03 - New Country
04 - Willie Nelson
05 - Cause = Time

Amy Millan - two bonus tracks

Yeah! I wanted to post a proper gig today but then I randomly found something I was searching for a long long long time! Ladies and gentlemen, click Amy to get her two Japanese bonus tracks from Honey from the Tombs.

Amy Millan - Murder Train Song
Amy Millan - She Got By

Stars - some vids from Flex, Vienna 2008-02-13

Aight, I know posting youtube erm quality shit on the blog is not quite our style, but please let me be a bit off-topic this time cos ladies and gentlemen, this crappy crap is mine!

Q: What is Stars Wars?
A: Stars Wars is kinda random fighting with your friend using Pat McGee´s drumsticks up in the first row after the gig while the (more) normal fans behind you think you´re not quite ok.

note: Pat can also play drums with a rose.
